Morgan received her Associates of Applied Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from Concorde Career College in 2017. She returned to the academic arena in 2023 obtaining her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Belmont University. In her early career as a COTA, Morgan began working with clients in the home health setting. After some time in this setting, Morgan was contacted by Julie Dixon with SHC to explore the specialized setting of hand therapy. Seeing this was an opportunity she decided to seize it.
Morgan came on as Southern Hand Center’s first COTA. During her time here she has gained an extensive knowledge in the background of hands. She works alongside and under the supervision of our two Certified Hand Therapists and our two Occupational Therapists to provide patients with the best level of care. To Morgan OT is a passion of caring for people while helping them achieve their purpose and regain their function. To her Southern Hand Center achieves this goal. She returned home to SHC after obtaining her advanced degree and now practices in the DeSoto location part-time.
